At Grow Your Mind Academy, we believe learning thrives when guided by passionate, caring, and knowledgeable educators. Our hybrid homeschool community is growing, and we’re excited to welcome teachers who share our commitment to nurturing curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning in homeschool students.

We are currently a small, dedicated team of homeschool parents and educators, actively building a supportive co-op community where talented teachers can share their skills, knowledge, and passions. As our academy expands, this section will highlight the incredible instructors who help create engaging, enriching educational experiences for students and families.

Instructor: Britney DeBry

Britney walked into her first yoga class hoping to increase flexibility and fitness after having two kids. Though the physical postures achieved exactly what she hoped, she quickly realized yoga was so much more than stretching.

Amidst the chaos of young family life, she found a place of peace and connection in movement and stillness. After a few years of practice, she felt inspired to grow and certify as a yoga instructor.

With a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Special Education Britney has a passion for connecting with and teaching children. She has years of experience teaching creatively kids’ yoga classes and camps. She finds joy in the energy and genuine emotion children express.

She has also taught all-level adult yoga classes for many years. She cares deeply about providing a welcoming space for growth and connection.

Britney truly believes that every step in her yoga journey has helped her become her truest and most authentic self, and considers herself lucky to witness others walk the yogic path.

Miss Amy

I love being able to share with students the joy that I get from music! As a piano teacher, I strive to break down concepts so that students will have both the understanding and the skills they need to truly enjoy making music. In my free time, I arrange/compose my own songs and spend time with my family.

Adriana Donoyan

Hello! My name is Mrs. Adriana Donoyan! I am happily married and a mother of two wild boys. I’m a dedicated Spanish teacher with a strong background in teaching language and culture at the classroom level. I have over ten years of teaching experience. I’m currently teaching 4th grade and I tutor students in Spanish and Armenian. I’m passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. I’m committed to helping students achieve their goals through interactive instruction and real-world application. Teaching is my passion and I love encouraging students to strive to reach all their goals.

Grow Your Vision

We are excited to grow our team and welcome passionate educators into our homeschool community. At Grow Your Mind Academy, our teachers are compensated for their time and talents. This is different from the volunteer co-op requirement for parents — paid instructors are separate from parent volunteer roles.
