PROGRAM COSTS

Tuition & Program Fees

We charge a small registration fee and semester tuition to cover the essential costs of running Grow Your Mind Academy, including administrative support, planning, materials, technology, and maintaining high-quality programs for our families.

  • Semester Tuition: $350 per student (reserves your spot in the class for the entire semester)

  • Annual Registration Fee: Required for all students, supports administrative operations and includes background checks for one parent

​

Part of the fees collected is also allocated to a scholarship fund, helping ensure that students who need financial assistance can still participate in our programs.

​

Our goal is to combine affordability, consistency, and quality education, allowing every homeschool family to thrive in a supportive, community-driven environment.

$100 Per Student, $80 Second Student, $20 Third Student - $200 Family Max

  • Technology Fee (Online Class): $5 per class per semester. Ensures registration, secures a spot in the class, and helps cover technology costs for online instruction.

3 / Social Clubs Only (Online Only Student)
$50 Per Student, Covers Online Social Clubs Only

  • $50 per semester. Includes participation in online social clubs. This fee is included as part of tuition.

3 / Spring 2026 Semester Tuition
$350 Per Student

  •  The semester tuition of $350 - per student helps ensure that Grow Your Mind Academy can provide high-quality programs and resources. Tuition funds are used for:

  • Instructor Compensation – Paying qualified instructors for all classes.

  • Physical Space Rental – Covering costs of in-person classroom and event spaces.

  • Educational Platforms & Licenses – Providing access to grade-appropriate resources such as EPIC, Prodigy, Freckle, SplashLearn, and Minecraft: Education Edition.

  • Insurance Costs – Supporting safety and liability coverage for in-person meetings and events.

  • Student Resources – Ensuring adequate materials, supplies, and opportunities for enrichment.

  • To provide flexibility for families, tuition can be broken into monthly payments, making it easier to manage while still supporting the academy’s programs and resources.

Flexible, High-Quality Learning for Homeschool Students

At Grow Your Mind Academy, we strive to make learning flexible, affordable, and engaging for homeschool students of all ages.

Families pay a flat semester tuition of $350 per student to participate in our co-op programs. In addition, a $5 materials/technology fee per class is collected to reserve each student’s spot in their chosen classes for the semester.

This semester model allows students to:

  • Explore a variety of subjects

  • Learn from multiple instructors and experts

  • Participate in a supportive homeschool learning community

  • Enjoy flexible learning options, both online and in-person

Our goal is to provide engaging academic and enrichment programs in a collaborative environment where students can learn, grow, and connect—all while supporting families through the co-op model.

Annual Registration

Grow Your Mind Academy charges a small annual registration fee to support administrative costs, program planning, and maintaining high-quality programs for our families.

  • Standard Registration Fee: $30 per student

  • Family Cap: $90

Breakdown:

  • 1 child = $30

  • 2 children = $60

  • 3+ children = $90

Please Note: Registration fees are required for all students and are separate from semester tuition and class reservation fees.

Spring 2026 Semester Schedule​

Spring 2026 Hybrid Co-Op Updates

Our Spring 2026 Hybrid Co-Op began on March 2, 2026, offering a combination of online and in-person classes, workshops, and enrichment activities.

​

To provide the best possible experience for both instructors and students, minor adjustments to schedules may occur as we finalize class rosters and enrollment.

​

Families will always be notified in advance of any changes, and options for class transfers or refunds will be provided if a class is canceled due to low enrollment.

Grow Your Mind Academy Co-Op: Semester Tuition & Enrollment

Semester Tuition: $350 per student
This tuition reserves your student’s spot for the semester and provides access to all classes offered during that period. Students may participate in multiple learning opportunities, including in-person and online classes, clubs, and enrichment activities.

Materials & Technology Fee: $5 per class per semester
This fee ensures registration, secures a spot in the class, and helps cover materials and technology costs.

​

Enrollment Notes:

  • Enrollment is intentionally limited to maintain small class sizes and meaningful interaction between students and instructors.

  • Families are required to participate in the hybrid co-op, completing two parent volunteer roles per semester. Roles include in-person or online teaching, class support, event planning, committees, yearbook, homeroom assistance, or administrative support. Parents may select four preferred roles, ranked 1–4, to help distribute responsibilities fairly.

  • All individuals 18+ working with children require a background check (included in registration fee; additional parent $30 if needed).

Hybrid Co-Op Learning Model:

  • In-Person Classes: Held at our Homeschool Resource Center in Tooele, Utah (future Florida location planned).

  • Online Classes: Synchronous instruction via Google Classroom; moderated social interaction on Discord.

  • Clubs & Committees: Leadership, Yearbook, Student Council, and social clubs for collaborative student engagement.

  • Social Activities & Events: Field trips, art & science fairs, dances, and enrichment activities.
